Memorandum of Appreciation

5 October 1990

1. The Military Traffic Management Command (MTMC) Pacific Northwest Outport recently completed, on short notice, the loadout of the AR RABBU with 204 pieces of cargo. It was our mission to ensure that cargo was loaded timely, safely, and that it sustained no damage during the loading process. These mission requirements were achieved; however, the successful loadout could not have occurred without the assistance of the dedicated 1395 TTU personnel who volunteered to assist in Operation Desert Shield at the Port of Tacoma.

2. The unit as a whole did a commendable job, but there were those, such as SPC David A. Day, whose contributions were indeed outstanding. Every task associated with his area of responsibility was accomplished with the utmost professionalism.

3. I was extremely proud having this brief opportunity to serve with an individual of SPC Day's caliber. I want you to know of the outstanding manner in which he represented your command. Please extend my sincere thanks for a job well done!
